After reading through the comments on my first essay, the one thing I must work on most is using multiple authors ideas to compare and contrast on one idea. I did a good job of using the authors opinions to support my idea, but I did not show how the authors opinions differed. There was a suggestion for me to use another authors thoughts to help to understand what the other person is saying more clearly, which I think would strengthen my argument. The one section of my paper that was the best was the section where I used one persons ideas to bounce off of another authors thoughts and it provided the best section. This is where my writing was most cohesive, so if I focus on doing this more, it will help my essays.
