The peer editing workshop in which I think I did my best work was for the second essay. The paper was about the effects technology had on our lives. I had a similar argument to my fellow classmate which helped me to peer edit, because I could suggest she add quotes similar to mine. Also, I could suggest a counter argument, since I states similar things in my essay. I think I did my best work on this essay, because I felt more comfortable editing after already doing it once. In our first session of peer editing, I was not sure was to look for from a global stand point. I have always been good at spotting spelling and grammar mistakes, but I struggle to suggest global edits. From the first to second session of peer review I think I developed immensely. The comments I made helped my peer to go into more detail in her paper. I suggested specific quotes to add that would support the argument she was already making. I believe I achieved the learning outcome of emphasizing global edits first, because my comments helped my peer add or remove big details. Local revisions are things like spelling and grammar, but my comments on this essay helped my classmate with quotes, which is global.
